Incoco Winter Collection - Holiday 2013

This Winter, Incoco released a two part collection named Merry & Bright featuring 12 Holiday designs and 11 New Year's Eve perfect sparkly shades. There are lots of fun patterns and glittery shades to choose from. Today I would like to show you three of the Holiday designs...

In case you are not yet familiar, Incoco appliques are 100% real nail polish. Application is just a few simple steps for a quick mess-free manicure with zero dry time. Removal is easy with polish remover or acetone. Full instructions can be found on the Incoco How To page. These polish strips are thin, flexible and slightly stretchy. They easily contour to the nail for a perfect fit. Each set includes 16 double-ended nail wraps to fit different nail sizes....

The pattern is very beautiful and I love how each nail comes out with a slightly different design. They are more transparent than I expected. The nail line is still faintly visible after applying the strips. They are vibrant enough that I didn't find myself concentrating on the nail line, but I do wish that they were more opaque to provide full coverage...

Incoco Pass the Bubbly

A champagne gold with scattered holo foil. These again are sheer enough to see the nail line and I wish it wasn't so. If this was a regular polish, I would have been tempted to add another coat because the color is really beautiful and I couldn't stop staring at the sparkly holo flecks as my nails caught the light. Similarly to a foil polish, I felt that this highlighted flaws in my nails.

Incoco Merry & Bright

This pattern reminds me of some sort of peppermint candy or needle drag nail art. It seems to have the same champagne gold base with scattered holo as Pass the Bubbly, but with the added benefit of being fully opaque. No visible nail line here. This is my favorite design from the three wraps I'm showing today. So pretty and sparkly...

I'm loving this design so much that I couldn't just toss my leftover nail strips. I used shaped hole punchers that I got from Michael's for around $1 each to cut out heart and butterfly shapes. If I don't forget, I'm going to try to use them for Valentines Day nail art in Feb. I am expecting them to dry out by then so it will be a fun experiment to see what I can do with them...

Tomorrow I'll show you some nail art I created with these nail polish strips and a different shaped hole puncher...

What do you think of these nail appliques?

  4. I have a bunch of nail strips, but have yet to try them out. My favorite is Giftwrapped, and if I owned that one there would be no holding back on trying out nail strips

  5. @Raggio di Luna, isn't it so fun? Love their patterns :)

@Natalie, I'm so glad you like them! Thank you :)

@Stephanie, It is mine as well! They have really great quality nail strips. :)

@Nathalie, Thank you so much! The plaid seems to be a favorite :)

@Victoria, I have that trouble with nail strips to. Since I change polish so often, I hate to 'waste' them by putting them on for one day so I keep saving them for special occasions. These are so much fun for the holidays though! :)
